Free pedometer is a great idea. I’m trying to walk more and more each new day. Pedometer makes the whole walking process much more interesting. I’m using omron hj 112 but I guess any other pedometer would make you walk more. Keep in shape and stay healthy!

Do you realise how far the recommended 10,000 steps is? It’s loads longer than you think! Nice freebie.

@Amy – it’s quite a long way isn’t it? It’s about 5 miles (depending on how long your legs are). It should be easy for city commuters who use the tube and such like to achieve. But for people like me who don’t have a reliable public transport system and drive everywhere, I walk from the house to the car and from the car park at work to work, and back again. This doesn’t add up to much.

I would really like a pedometer but when I try to click the form to fill it out I’m getting some weird error page – see below:

any help would be great

@Erin, it seems Halton Hikes are having a problem with their website. All I can suggest is maybe try again later.
