Conversely, if you want something flashy and pricey you may want to look at an emerald cut (a rectangular shape requiring a very high quality stone to look nice). The final factor to consider with engagement rings is metal type. Hmm, maybe there are more factors to this than free gadgets on the web. Gold can be white or yellow and is a beautiful and durable metal. Platinum looks similar to silver but is much higher quality in terms of durability. It is pricier, but will ensure that your ring lasts a long time.
